When All Is Lost

It feels like the most terrible thing to lose everything. We of course use that phrase incorrectly, to get across how emotionally devastating a situation is.

It may happen that we lose our jobs, or our homes are destroyed by fire, flood, or earthquakes, our money is gone, or we lose a loved one to divorce, or death.

All of these occurrences and more can seem like the worst moments of our life experience, yet each holds the key to true freedom from pain and suffering. Each devastating moment we experience, should trigger a deeper search within us for that which is unaffected by the material existence.

When all is lost whether seemingly or actual, it puts us to our knees in surrendering. We surrender to our arrogance and ignorance that we know what is best. We surrender by letting go of control, and accepting things as they are. We realize to fight against it will not solve the issue, but instead prolong the pain and suffering.

This is a hard place to be in as ego. The ego does not want to surrender its existence and its false sense of control. The ego will fight to the last breath and will not willingly give into to what it cannot control.

Yet the place of total surrender is just the state in which will bring about a deeper sense of awakening. It is in the moment of complete surrender that there is a deep peace that comes over us. This deep peace can only come with the letting go of any thoughts of control. It is in this letting go of thought that stillness is realized.

This stillness is always present, it must be because it is our True Nature. Our True Nature is what we are, it is our true essence. It is our actual Beingness.

Surrendering or letting go is realizing we no longer exist as a personal ego. We no longer believe ourselves to be an image. In surrendering we give away any attachment to being a person.

Now Ego is going to have something to say about this. The ego will not have any of this letting go stuff. This is of no concern to us, because we already realize that the self-image or ego isn’t real to begin with so why pay any attention to it.

If we are lucky, we all have had moments of complete surrender. Mine came after a terribly emotional divorce that I created immense pain and suffering over. The self-image I was attached as, could not find any sense of security outside of the relationship, and so it felt like the ego was dying. After several months of this I found myself like a puddle on the floor weeping hysterically and repeating “I give up, I don’t know what to do anymore, please take this pain away, I will give up everything if you just take this pain away”.

Does any of this sound familiar to you? There was so much emotional pain and suffering that I was willing give my whole life away that I had created. Nothing had any meaning to it, I was completely lost and realized that I had created all of this pain.

As terrible as this was, it was also the biggest gift I ever received. This drove me to seek deep within myself to discover what I now know to be the Absolute True Nature.

When all is lost the ego is left with nowhere to turn. The ego experiences all at once it is limited and has never been in control. Then if the opportunity is taken to search deep within for the stillness that is always present, the ego will begin to collapse into itself.

Our health and wellbeing lay in awakening to our True Nature and letting go of the habit of identity with all its fears of non-existence.

In truth it is only a conditioned response or habit in believing in an identity.

Giving meaning to thoughts and events and holding onto them as part of a false identity is what causes all the pain and suffering.

Holding onto a false sense of your true Self, is the cause of pain and suffering. It is not needed and does not give this life experience any true joy and peace.

All that is needed is the realization that you do not require a made up, (false), identity to exist.

The time is now, not sometime in the future for you to create health and wellness. See this moment as the critical point of changing your life around.

Do you want to be healthy, fit, and enjoy a deep sense of wellbeing and abundance? Then let go of every idea, and attachment to the contrary.

Are you ready to change your life experience? Are you ready to begin enjoying health, fitness, wellbeing, and abundance?

It takes one simple step. You just have to ask for help.
