Making Space For Health

You can imagine room full of furniture, and now you want a new look for this room. You purchase a new couch, end tables, and lights. However, you cannot use the furniture and change the look and feel of the room, until you make space for the new furniture. You must let go of the old furniture.

Another way of pointing to this is you must make space for the new look. So, it is with health, wellness, and abundance in your life experience.

Most of us want for more or different as a life experience, however, most never make space for it. Bob Proctor one of my mentors, (Hi Bob), mentions, “The Universe abhors a vacuum”, and so it must rush in to fill it. The analogy is if you empty a room it will soon be filled once more. Not out of magic but through your own expression. Bob Proctor goes on to explain that when you let go of negative disserving thoughts, you must replace them with meaningful thoughts of that which you deeply desire.

We all want health, wellness, and abundance in our life experience. Yet, we never let go of our habitual thoughts of not having them. So, how can the Universe rush in to fill a space if it is still full of the old furniture? There is no room or space in your life experience for health, wellness, and abundance to rush in. There is a dam holding back the rushing in of Consciousness. We could also say it is the delusional mind with all thought attachment that holds back the Grace of Consciousness from full being present.

Can you see how the thoughts you are identifying with are what are holding you back from (to continue the analogy) emptying your room?

How can health, wellness, and abundance rush in when there is no space for it? You are still cluttered up with old habitual thoughts.

There is a teaching if your glass is full with all your preconceived notions; there is no room for what the teacher is giving.

Bruce Lee the well-known martial artists mentioned to his students, “Empty your cup so that it may be filled; become devoid to gain totality.” He also said “You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. When you pour water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle. When you pour water in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can drip and it can crash. Become like water my friend.”

Make space for health, wellness, and abundance to come into your life experience.  How do you do this?

Let go of all your preconceived notion and beliefs of what you think health wellness and abundance are. Let go of the fearful thoughts of what your condition is right now. Let go of whatever you may be holding onto of what you once were. All of this is cluttering up the space needed for true health wellbeing and abundance to rush in.

If you are holding onto ideas that there is a certain way of exercising, or eating, that has worked for you in the past, let it go. Let go of the attachment to it.

If you are holding onto a belief that you are not sure you can di it, let it go. Let go of identifying with it.

Allow for space. In the beginning the ego will rush in with thoughts and ideas to hold you in thought. Ego doesn’t like space.

Space is the stillness of consciousness. Space itself is consciousness. It is your True Nature. Yet, so many of us are uncomfortable in stillness. It is not actually us but the ego that is uncomfortable because in stillness the ego no longer exists. The one thing we know all to well is that the ego must maintain its existence.

On the physical level of our life experience, making space can mean, making space in the refrigerator for all the nutritious foods that are needed to heal the body. It also means making space in your days to exercise, and get enough restful sleep. Make space to be still through out the day in meditation, even if for five to ten minutes. Make space to prepare those healthy meals. Make space to drink your water. Make space to laugh and love without condition. Make space to breathe.

We need to make space in our life experience. Take a look at your life experience right now and see if you are just filling up space with inconsequential actions and activities. Let go of those activities and see how much space you have now created so that health, wellness, and abundance can flow in.

Let go of your attachment to all that is ailing you, and you will create space and receive the health, fitness, wellbeing, and abundance that are your birthright.
